Vilebrequin and JRP|Editions launch ‘The Artists’ Editions’

Working in collaboration, French swimwear giants Vilebrequin have partnered with art publishers JRP|Editions for a new venture that will see acclaimed artists change how we view the possibilities of the swimsuit.

The first round of the new collection see artists Kenny Scharf, Sylvie Fleury , John M Armleder and Deux Femme Noirs take on their own interpretations of Vilebrequin’s classic styles. Confronting European and American, male and female, black and queer perspectives, this wide-ranging collaboration touches on the abstract and figurative, reinforcing Vilebrequin’s promise to keep taking the swimsuit into unexplored territory.
