A Lange & Söhne’s new Zeitwerk

A Lange & Söhne have launched the second generation of their digital watch - with a mechanical heart.

In 2009, A. Lange & Söhne presented the first ZEITWERK to the amazement of the world of horology, taking their inspiration from the famous five-minute clock at the Semper Opera House in Dresden. The unprecedented wristwatch concept features large jumping numerals for the hours and minutes as well as a constant-force escapement as a beat controller. The clear, avant-garde display of time remains a stand-out even amongst the brands other beautiful watches. The new generation has been subtly reworked, to create an update of a masterpiece.
